Holiday Beauty Haul

Hey guys, today I thought I'd share with you a little haul of beauty items I purchased whilst on holiday.  Most of these items were actually purchased in duty free and since they were so cheap I thought I'd re-purchase some of my favourites.

I decided to add a gift from Melissa to this haul as it was given to me just before my holiday and I've been obsessed with it. It's the Bubblegum Lip Scrub from Lush. Again as this was a gift I don't have a price but I'm pretty sure they are around £4

The next items pictured above are the two Rimmel nail polishes, I did take photos of these, however, the colours are so pale they weren't showing up too well in the photos so I decided to leave them out and just mention them instead. The pale pink is 'Lose your Lingerie' and the pale blue is '
I got these just before my holiday but decided to throw them in for this post. They were £3.99 each from my local Tesco.

My mum kindly bought me another Nina Ricci perfume from the duty free since Its one of my summer favourites and I was running low. I'm not sure exactly how much she paid for it since it was a gift but this scent is easy enough to find being in most perfume departments and stores. I love this scent for summer as its really fresh and fruity.

The first item I purchased in duty free was this Benefit 'How to be the best at everything ' kit. I've been wanting to try some different Benefit products and figured this was the best was to do that. The kit contains; Porefessional primer (already loved this!) Hello Flawless foundation, two shades of Boing concealer, Hello Flawless powder in 'ivory'.

The reason I like this kit so much is because you get to have a good try of multiple products without buying them all full size, full price. This way, if you don't like a particular product, you aren't as disappointed and you aren't left with a product you don't like and won't end up using.

I also like that this kit has all the products to do your base face make up-great for those times you are on the go, I simply grab the box and chuck it in my bag with a couple of other products and I'm good to go. The size of the items also save a ton of space in the make up bag when travelling.

This kit would be ideal for someone new to make up not only for trying multiple items at a good price but also because there is a book inside showing you how to use each product. I paid £21 for this in duty free. Bargain.

This next product is nothing revolutionary in the terms that it's already in every beauty bloggers make up kit, however, this is one of the most used items in my make up bag and mine was looking a tad worse for wear- the Urban Decay Naked2. I won't bore you with the details since its already been done a million times over but I decided to repurchase this palette as you can't ever have enough trusty neutrals in your collection. Again this was a duty free purchase so I got it for £21. A steal, don't you think?

This next item was a new product for me but something I was really interested in trying. I love Shellac and Gel nails, however, my sister and I have a huge reaction to UV lamps, our hands come out I.  All sorts of blisters and awfulness so I had to stop getting my nails done. Going back to regular nail varnish after using pretty indestructible gels is a tad disappointing to say the least. Chips, flaking, waiting for it to dry...who has time for that? I've been on the search ever since, that's when this little beauty walked into my life- OPI Infinite Shine. This product claims to be the non UV lamp needing gel polish. As you can imagine, I snapped this off the shelf so quick the duty free shelves shook, I began sweeping all of the colours off the shelves into my basket, my Mum being the voice of reason, made me put them all back...except for two (rubs hands together in mischievous manner).

This works pretty much the same as Shellac or Gelish. You need an base and top coat, these came in a pack for £16. You paint on your base coat, wait  2 minutes, paint 2 coats of colour (allowing 2 minutes to dry after each coat), then apply your top coat, allow a further 2 minutes to dry and tadahhh! You are ready to rock those gel nails.

The two colours I ended up taking home were 'From Here to Eternity,' a gorgeous bright pink, perfect for summer and 'Staying Neutral,' I'm other words, exactly what it saying on the bottle- a neutral, more on the taupey side.

The next product I got was the Loreal Volume Million Lashes mascara. I'm not usually a drug store mascara type of girl, however, I like to try a new one every once in a while. This one cost me £7.99 in duty free and I have to say it's not bad! I still prefer Benefit They're Real, but this one is good for a drug store mascara. I wouldn't say it adds length to my lashes but they do look thick and full without being clumpy or too wet.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little beauty haul and I will be back soon with another post. I'm currently in the process of uploading my holiday pictures (and there is a LOT)  if you are interested in taking a look, that should be up within the next couple of days, until then, take care!
